                              Education Programs for Young Children and Their Families

Ahoy, me hearty!  Come explore the high seas as we pretend to be pirates and mermaids!

Activities will include:

 Making telescopes
Creating treasure maps
Painting and decorating treasure chests
Making treasure

Creating mermaids
Making mermaid headbands and necklaces
Building and painting pirate ships
And much more!

This year’s summer schedule will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 9-11:30: June 28th-June 30th and July 12th – July 28th (we will be closed the week of July 4th).  Each day will include an art activity, free choice time in the classroom, snack, a large group activity time, and outdoor water play.  Children can sign up for one to four weeks dependent upon availability.  Please select and rate weeks based on preference and we will try to accommodate your first choices.  The fee for one week is $78.  Each session will be multi-aged, and include children from our preschool and science classes.  A deposit of $78 must be included with your registration form and is due by April 15th. Tuition balances will be due by June 10th.

Backyard Adventures –SUMMER PROGRAM

Choose this program if your child is enrolled in our morning program and you are looking for a slightly longer day.  Children must be four years old and sign up for both days.  This program will only be offered if seven or more children enroll for the week, and is directed toward children ages 4-6years.

 

When: Tuesday and Thursday 11:30-1:30

Cost: $45

 

Each day will include lunch, open exploration of our classroom areas, a science activity*, and outdoor play!

*Many of these activities will be outdoors and incorporate some sort of water play.  Children will compare salty water to drinking water, do sink and float experiments, make spouting whales, compare various materials to construct boats out of for use in water, make sun prints and more!  

 

Children can sign up for one to four weeks.  Spaces will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
